This story is no longer active because of my realization that the plotline was completely stupid and did not meet my writing standards.Wakesville is a town that has a lot of odd happenings. Mysterious fires, strange deaths, disappearances...none of which could be explained by logical reasoning. The town is known for one thing besides its disasters, though: The Henderson Mansion, a mysterious building that stands upon the hill overlooking the town. Just the aura around the mansion is dripping with danger, which is a good enough reason for people to stay away from it...but danger sometimes doesn't seem that bad at all to some people.Three teenagers on their summer vacation finally decide that they'd had enough of guessing the dangers of it, and finally let their curiosity get the best of them. They go venturing in, just to find that the house is completely empty of all human life. After somehow getting locked in this creepy setting, they decide that they need to find another way out besides the front door. The mansion had over a hundred rooms - most of them hidden - but nevertheless, they went to find another escape route. They come across the colossal library which had over hundreds of books. One particular book contained a strange story that someone had written about a family being murdered there. The story indeed creeped them out, but what got to them more was when they actually discovered the bodies of the Hendersons...and since no one had entered the mansion for so many years, it was quite odd for them to be murdered. The truth led them to find that they're all victims of lies and deceit. They also encounter some unexpected people...if you could call them that.This story is partially based on the book by Stephen King, Rose Red. read more »
